Grey and white cat

Session information

If you’re after studio photos of your pet on a clean white or black background, I’m probably not the right photographer for you.

While that’s a lovely way to document your pet, I like to focus on your pet in their environment – at home, on their favourite spot on the couch; or at the park, trying to find the biggest stick they can carry -, and interacting with the most important person in their world (that’s you!). So if that’s more your style, I think we’d work great together!

So if you’ve had a look at the Gallery and you would love to have gorgeous photos of Mia or Bailey just like that, here’s what you need to know:

Creative Fee – $199

    This includes:

  • A 1-2 hour session with up to 2 pets and 2 people
  • Travel within 1 hour of Forest Lake, 4078
  • 30 post-processed images for you to view

Prints, wall canvas art, albums and acrylic blocks are available. Prints start at $20.
The minimum order requirement for products is $200.

Session Availability

Do you have a new puppy, someone’s birthday coming up, or an elderly or terminally ill pet? I often have sessions available on short notice, to make sure that you can get the memories of your best friend when it really matters (or even just to show off your beautiful new canvas or album at your next dinner party). Email me via the contact form to reserve your session date now.

4 easy steps to purrfect art for your home

So I can get to know you and your pooch, the first thing we’ll do after you book is a phone consultation. This where you tell me about your pet, his story, personality and quirks, your favourite places, and what you hope to get out of our session. Once we agree on the details and a date, we’ll get the deposit sorted to hold your date, and I’ll send over a photo agreement for you to sign.

On the day of the photo shoot, we’ll get in touch in the morning to confirm that everything is going ahead and the weather is suitable. When we meet at the location, I’ll spend some time getting to know your dog without my camera. Once we’re best buds, I’ll take photos until we’ve got enough gorgeous ones to fill an album (usually 1-2 hours).

Once I’ve prepared the photos for you to view, we’ll organise an ordering session. I’ll come to you with a beautiful slideshow to experience your pet’s images for the first time, and then we will have a look to see what products will work best for your home. This takes all the guesswork out of different kinds of prints and sizes, and I can even show you in advance how the images will look right on your wall! Easy peasy.

Delivery of products will take about 4-5 weeks from ordering. Your order will be delivered free of charge to your door step (or you can pick it up from me), with a handy little guide covering the best ways to display and hang your new artworks. And then – all that’s left is to enjoy the keepsakes of your best friend!
